I tested the Update 3 Trials requirements so you don’t waste runs. You unlock the three new Lyth classes by clearing set rooms in Trials: Silver Calamity (Room 125+ solo), Astral Blossom (Room 150+ co-op) and Void Arbiter (Room 325). Three new Lyth weapons unlock through Trials too.

Classes vs. Weapons: Don’t Mix Them Up
Some guides call Silver Calamity, Astral Blossom and Void Arbiter “Lyth units.” Others list Rin Okumura (Blue Flame Heir), Frieren (Eternal Archmage) and Astra Yao (Starlight Diva) as the three new Lyth weapons. Update 3 adds both sets, and Trials unlocks all six.
Before You Start
- Open the Trials menu from the matchmaking area and check the Room Rewards.
- Compare your target against Highest Room Cleared in the Trials lobby. Room and floor labels differ between videos, so trust the lobby number.
- Upgrade and awaken your units first. Each room ends in a boss on the fifth floor.
How to Unlock Silver Calamity?
Clear Room 125 or higher while playing solo. A co-op clear doesn’t count, so select solo mode before you queue.
I’d run Cursed King for wide area damage on regular floors. Swap to Shadow Monarch for single-target burst when the boss appears. Its evolution damage boosts help most here.
How to Unlock Astral Blossom?
Clear Room 150 or higher in co-op. Solo clears won’t register.
Use the new matchmaking to find open lobbies, or join an active guild. Update 3 also redesigned guilds, which makes finding a group easier.
How to Unlock Void Arbiter?
Clear Room 325. There’s no solo or co-op restriction, but it’s the longest grind of the three.
Don’t rush it. Push your damage with accessories and awakenings, and farm a floor you can clear comfortably rather than one you barely survive.
How to Unlock the New Lyth Weapons?
- Rin Okumura: Finish in the Trials top 3. This is a competitive unlock, so expect it to be hard.
- Astra Yao: Clear Room 175.
- Frieren: Clear Room 250.
These thresholds come from one guide, so confirm them on the in-game unlock cards.
Pro Tips to Climb Trials Faster
- Grab the new codes. TRIALSPATCH gives 300 Trait Rerolls, 1M Coins and 150 Lucky Spins, but it needs level 35+. Check the Anime Zero codes first.
- Reroll traits on your main. Spend rerolls only on the weapon you’ll keep. See our Anime Zero traits guide.
- Use two weapons. You can equip two and switch mid-run, so pair wave-clear with boss burst. Our Anime Zero tier list shows the best pairs.
- Play the right mode. The most common mistake is clearing the right room in the wrong mode.
- Farm leftover rewards. Trials also pays Coins, Crystals, Lucky Spins and awakening food, so every clear helps your build.
