Clover RPG landed on Roblox in November 2026 and instantly pulled in thousands of Black Clover fans — and thousands of confused new players staring at the map. Seven magics, seven races, 53 weapons, and almost no hand-holding. I’ve ground through the Kamo Region myself, and I can tell you your first hour decides how fast everything else goes.

This beginner guide covers exactly what to do first: the tutorial order in Kamo Village, the starter weapon worth taking, the three quest queues that level you fastest, and how to get your grimoire at level 15 without wasting Essence. Quick answers first, deeper detail below.

Clover RPG Beginner Guide: What to Do First

Here’s the short version: finish the Kamo Village tutorial, press U to call the Mission Bird, then rotate between bird quests, blue missions and world events until you reach level 15. At 15, travel to Wisdom Peak for your grimoire, and put your first upgrade points into the dojo and the Inner Realm. The full opening route at a glance:

PriorityWhat to DoWhy It Matters
1Finish the Kamo Village tutorialUnlocks your weapon, broom and Mission Bird
2Press U and run Mission Bird questsYour main source of rank progress and EXP
3Farm blue missions and world eventsFills cooldown gaps with EXP and loot
4Hit level 15, visit Wisdom PeakRolls your grimoire (random magic)
5Spend points at the dojo and Inner RealmUpgrades your weapon and unlocks spells

One platform note before you start: Clover RPG runs on PC and console only — there’s no mobile support yet.

Finish the Tutorial in Kamo Village

The tutorial doubles as a reward chain, so don’t skip any of it. Talk to Chief Farris, then visit Vulcan the blacksmith to claim your starter weapon. Help Eira gather Wolfsbane and Bamboo to unlock harvesting, then bring Johan Cloth and 2 Wood — his Winds of Freedom quest hands you your first broom (equip it from your inventory and press Y to fly). Round out the chain by mining 3 ores for Old Roderick, hunting 3 wolves for Captain Dalen, and taking Eleanor’s F-rank mission at the Guild Hall before reporting back to Farris.

Build two habits right now: NPCs with gray question marks above them hand out tutorial quests, and your Journal (J) tracks every active objective. Also spend your stat points (Tab) after every level — the five stats are agility, endurance, intelligence, strength and vitality, and unspent points do absolutely nothing for you.

Pick Your Starter Weapon (and Use Your Free Rerolls)

Your weapon choice at Vulcan locks your class, so pick with intent:

Starter WeaponClassStyle
GauntletsLightFast swings
Novice BladeMediumBalanced all-rounder
Rustic SpearMediumLong reach
LongswordHeavySlow, highest damage

I recommend the Longsword for straightforward PvE damage, or Gauntlets if PvP is your endgame. Changing class later requires a full character wipe, so don’t rush the decision.

Race works as a gacha roll: Human (52%) is the common pull but sells items for 15% more Marks, while Lesser Demon and Lesser Angel (1% each) are the S-tier jackpots with the strongest combat passives. You get two free race rerolls — use both, then stop. Burning Robux on extra rolls this early is the fastest route to buyers’ remorse, especially since race passives barely matter before the mid-game.

Level Fast: Keep Three Queues Running

Here’s what most beginners miss: your leveling speed in Clover RPG is limited by cooldowns, not by how hard you fight. Keep three queues rotating at all times:

  1. Mission Bird quests (press U) — the main path for rank and story progress, and rank-up missions end in boss fights.
  2. Blue missions — repeatable every 5–10 minutes. Rotate between two or three so one is always off cooldown.
  3. World events — open to everyone, dropping EXP, weapons and gear, with zero penalty if you fail.

Missions consume tokens issued by the Guild Hall, so when you’re out of tokens or waiting on the bird, blue quests and bandit camps keep the EXP flowing. Players who bounce between all three queues hit the mid-game hours ahead of stronger players who stand around waiting for the bird to come back.

Get Your Grimoire at Level 15

At level 15, a quest sends you to Wisdom Peak — the floating island above the Kamo Region — where you take a magic exam and roll a random grimoire. The seven magics range from common to near-mythical: Flame and Light (22%), Wind (20%), Lightning and Shadow (15%), Beast (5%), and Time at just 1%.

Whatever you roll, don’t reroll immediately. Rerolls consume a Bag or Box of Essence — expensive items you’ll also need for upgrades — and nearly every magic clears early PvE without trouble. Flame is the community’s safe pick for questing, but I kept my first roll and never regretted it. Treat Essence like rent money: hold it until your economy is stable, then decide whether your kit justifies another roll, a Robux reroll, or a level 15 wipe.

Weapons, Dojo and the Inner Realm

Combat fills your weapon’s proficiency bar — Light, Medium or Heavy — but a full bar does nothing on its own. When it fills, take the dojo quest and spend the points on that same weapon class. Splitting proficiency across all three types is the classic new-player trap; commit to one and your upgrades arrive twice as fast.

Then press U and enter the Inner Realm. Meditate to unlock traits and active skills (requirements include levels, skill points, Insight and Manahearts), and talk to the Grimoire Echo to buy your grimoire’s passives with Marks and skill points. New spells unlock at level milestones — 25 and 35 are common — so revisit meditation every time an ability notification pops.

One serious warning: never take the Bounty Hunter trait. It permanently halves your PvE XP, which is a devastating price for a new player. Pick-Me-Up at level 15 — you lose 40% fewer items on death — is the far smarter pick while you learn boss patterns.

Fast Travel, Professions and Making Marks

Waypoint portals in Kamo Village and Mushroom Village stay locked until you finish Brother Grimm’s Waypoint Repair quest in the Mushroom Region — bring him 3 Manaheart and 3 Hearthstone for 100 EXP and permanent fast travel. Follow your main quest markers and you’ll reach it naturally, because the map funnels you through regions in a deliberate order.

Meanwhile, level your professions: Mining, Harvesting and Crafting are the easiest to grind, feed directly into weapon and potion crafting, and push you most of the way to level 36 on their own.

For money, repeat the best-paying quests: Hodan (75 Marks), Legolas’s A True Hunt (50), Javier’s Waking Nightmare (50) and Shroombert (50). Sell spare weapons too — the Elkstrider and Wanderer’s Edge fetch 220 each, and the Human race plus the Bargain Master trait stacks another 15% on top.

Beginner Mistakes to Avoid

  • Rerolling your first grimoire and burning Essence you’ll need for upgrades
  • Waiting on Mission Bird cooldowns instead of running blue missions
  • Splitting proficiency across Light, Medium and Heavy weapons
  • Roaming far from quest markers at low level — the region order exists for a reason
  • Chasing codes — Clover RPG has no code system as of November 2026, so sites listing “codes” are recycling another game’s rewards

FAQs

What is the best race in Clover RPG?

Lesser Demon and Lesser Angel (1% rolls) carry the strongest combat passives, but there’s no single best race. Human’s 15% sell-price bonus quietly makes it the best earner for new players.

How do you get your first grimoire in Clover RPG?

Reach level 15, travel to Wisdom Peak in the Kamo Region, and finish the magic exam quest. Your grimoire is a random roll — Time Magic is the rarest at 1%.

Should you reroll your first grimoire?

Not right away. Rerolls burn Essence items you’ll need for upgrades, and most magics handle early PvE fine. Reroll once your economy is stable.

How do you fly in Clover RPG?

Finish Johan’s tutorial quest to receive your broom, equip it from your inventory, then press Y to take off.

Does Clover RPG have codes?

No. As of November 2026 there’s no redemption system in the game — any site listing Clover RPG codes is showing another game’s rewards. The official Discord is the only reliable source for patch news and future giveaways.
