I compared the latest rankings and merged them into one list. Right now, Ryu, Yuto (Pure Love), Sukuno (Mohoraga) and JoGo (Six-Eye) lead the meta.

How I Ranked the Units
I judged every unit on four things: damage, team utility, economy value and late-game scaling. Rarity didn’t decide placement. The game is brand new, so lists still disagree on a few units (more on that below). Treat S and A as close.
S Tier – Best Meta Units

Farm units keep your Yen flowing. Spood (Yen) is the main one, and Bulme and School Girl add +Max Yen. One note: Pro Game Guides ranks Spood in S tier, while Destructoid treats him as a pure economy unit. Either way, he’s worth owning early.
Best Beginner Units
- Damage: Barate or Sasuko (Epic DPS).
- Farming: Spood.
- Legendaries: Kizao or Tojo.
- Best early Mythic: Bory (Awakened).
Why Rankings Differ?
Pro Game Guides puts Fammy in S and JoGo and Bory in A. Destructoid does the opposite and also lists Wool in S. Pro Game Guides calls its list very early, so I’d expect shuffling as players test more content.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Chasing rarity. A Secret unit isn’t always better than a well-placed Mythic.
- Stacking only damage. Add support and economy units, or your lineup stalls.
- Evolving weak units. Don’t sink rare materials into Last Heir when Ryu, Sukuno or JoGo give far more return.
