Planet X is a late-game zone that needs 100B Speed to enter. To break its eggs, you need the Sci Fi or Enchanted Pickaxe. That’s the main reason to chase these two new tools.
How to Buy Pickaxes in Break and Steal an Egg?
- Head to the Pickaxe Shop in the Safe Zone, next to the Animal Merging machine on the left side of spawn.
- Browse the shop and find a pickaxe you can afford.
- Click the price shown under it to buy.
- Equip the pickaxe from your inventory.
Some tools also show a Robux button. That’s only a shortcut, and the prices in my table are the Cash prices.
When Should You Upgrade Your Pickaxe?
I only upgrade when breaking the egg is the slowest part of my run. Power is damage per swing. With the Hacker Pickaxe’s 15M Power, an egg with 30M health breaks in just 2 hits.
Pickaxe Power doesn’t make you run faster and doesn’t unlock zones. Speed does that. If you reach the egg but lose the animal on the way back, a new pickaxe won’t fix it. Early on, Sportskeeda’s guide suggests buying a Trail before a pickaxe, and I agree because Trails multiply your Speed.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Buying a pickaxe you can barely afford and leaving yourself broke.
- Ignoring Speed. Check the zone Speed requirements before you spend.
- Trusting old lists that stop at Celestial.
