Huss Valley has 10 abilities: five for Runners and five for Chasers. You can equip one per role and unlock them with Gems or Robux. Only One Hit Shield (Runner) and Bear Trap (Chaser) are free. I compared Beebom’s latest data with four other guides, and several still list an older six-ability, lower-price setup, so the costs below follow the newest numbers (last checked October 2026).

Best Huss Valley Abilities to Buy First

Beebom’s tier list ranks Emergency Airhorn, Rocket Shoes and Cloak as S tier. Rufus’s Leash, Pocket Door and Inflatable Decoy sit in A tier, Big Dagger and One Hit Shield in B, Bowling Ball in C and Bear Trap in D.

Here is how I’d spend Gems:

  • Runner: Pocket Door first. It’s the cheapest paid option and works even when a Chaser is staring at you. Then save for Emergency Airhorn, which costs 175 Gems less than Cloak.
  • Chaser: Rocket Shoes beat Rufus’s Leash on price by 325 Gems and rank higher, so buy them first. Add the Leash later to close gaps.
  • Avoid: Don’t rush Bear Trap upgrades. Half a second of stun is easy to dodge.

Common mistake: Treating Cloak as a shield. It hides you, but hits still land, and using any item cancels it.

How to Get and Equip Huss Valley Abilities?

  1. Click the Menu button on the left of your screen.
  2. Open Shop, then the Abilities tab.
  3. Buy your ability with Gems or Robux.
  4. Equip it. One Runner and one Chaser ability can be active at once.

Abilities are permanent unlocks. Coins are a separate currency that only buys single-use consumables.

How to Earn Gems Faster?

  • Grab Gems on the arena floor while playing as a Runner. Early rounds are safest because the Chaser is outnumbered.
  • Finish daily quests and event objectives.
  • Spin the lobby wheel.
  • Redeem the latest Huss Valley codes for free Gems and boosts.
