The best Anime Zero build for max damage pairs an awakened Cursed King, Cataclysm, or Flame Director with the Attack + Critical skill tree, the Supernova trait, the Blast Archer Crown, and the Flame Director title. Best Weapons for Max Damage

I’d build around three weapons: Cursed King, Cataclysm, and Flame Director. You don’t need the rarest pull to start, because awakening and the rest of your gear matter just as much.

Cursed King is the easiest place to begin. It’s an Arcane summon weapon, so it’s far more accessible than Cataclysm. Its abilities also give you i-frames, which makes it the safest pick for raids. One catch: Arcane pity gives you a random Arcane weapon, so it doesn’t guarantee Cursed King.

Cataclysm hits fast, has short cooldowns, and is one of the strongest options, but it’s much harder to get. It has a 3,500-spin pity, and normal, Lucky, and free spins all count toward the same pity counters. It lacks Cursed King’s i-frame protection, so expect to dodge more in raids.

Flame Director works with both builds. If you already own it, there’s no reason to swap just to copy someone else’s setup.

Awaken whichever weapon you choose. Awakening unlocks its ultimate, giving you another big attack for bosses and raids. Check the requirements early and save your materials instead of burning everything on summons.

Best Skill Tree for Damage

Max both the Attack and Critical branches. At full rank, Attack gives +60% damage and Critical gives +15% crit chance. Go Attack first because it boosts damage directly, then finish Critical. You earn the upgrade tokens by using and leveling your weapon, so this is steady progress, not luck. Also note that these are final values at max rank, so you don’t add earlier ranks on top.

Best Trait: Supernova

Supernova is the best all-round trait for the full build:

+24% Damage
+12% Cooldown Reduction
+20% Attack Speed
+3 Walk Speed

You hit harder, swing faster, and get skills back sooner. If you haven’t rolled it yet, Ferocity or Hunter can hold you over. Don’t burn every reroll while your awakening or skill tree is unfinished.

Best Accessory: Blast Archer Crown

The Blast Archer Crown (Mythic) gives +20% Damage, +12% HP, +7% Cooldown Reduction, and +7% Drop Rate. The damage is the headline, but its cooldown reduction stacks with Supernova too. You can equip only one gear piece, and the Crown is the expensive part of this setup, so check its crafting materials early.

Best Title: Flame Director

The Flame Director title gives +15% Damage, +20% HP, +3.5 Walk Speed, +5% Cooldown Reduction, and +5% Drop Rate. To unlock it, clear the raid as Flame Director without using your ultimate for the whole run.

On paper that’s roughly +119% damage and 24% cooldown reduction, plus faster attacks. The game may not add every bonus linearly, so treat these as listed values, not guaranteed DPS.

Weapon Pair Synergy

Cheaper Critical Build in Anime Zero

Can’t afford the Crown, or already rolled Deadeye? Keep the same awakened weapon, skill tree, and Flame Director title. Only two things change: Deadeye replaces Supernova and Sunglasses replace the Crown.

Sunglasses (Epic): +3% Damage, +11% Crit Chance, +1 Walk Speed, +5% Coins, +4% HP

Add it up: 15% (skill tree) + 5% (Deadeye) + 11% (Sunglasses) = 31% Crit Chance. That doesn’t mean every third hit crits, but over a long boss fight you’ll trigger that +50% Crit Damage often. Sunglasses are Epic, so this route is much easier to finish than the Mythic Crown.

Supernova vs. Deadeye: Which Should You Use?

If you already have Supernova and the Crown materials, go full damage. You get stronger raw damage, faster attacks, and shorter cooldowns. If you rolled Deadeye first or want a budget route, the crit build is the smarter play.

Some tier lists rate Deadeye higher for long fights because of crits, while Supernova shines for fast farming. Don’t judge by one huge crit. Run the same boss with the same weapon a few times and compare average clear time.

Spending everything on summons. Keep materials for awakening, or your new weapon stays unfinished.
Waiting for Cataclysm. Keep upgrading the weapon you already own.
