Best Mitya Build in Genshin Impact (November 2026) Top Teams, Weapons, and Artifacts

Mitya is Genshin Impact’s new 5-star Electro Catalyst, and his best build uses Elemental Mastery (EM) Sands and Goblet, a CRIT Circlet, his signature Catalyst, and a 4-piece Stellar-Conduct or EM set. He arrived in Version 7.2 on November 4, 2026, and plays as an on-field DPS or an off-field sub-DPS. I’ve compared the strongest guides so you can build him without wasting resin.

How Mitya Works?

Mitya is built around Stellar-Conduct, which turns Superconduct into a Polestar Field. That field boosts Cryo and Electro DMG and lowers enemy Physical RES.

Hold his Elemental Skill for the on-field mode. You get enhanced Charged Attacks that consume Gradient Beacons.
Tap his Elemental Skill for the off-field mode. A Detection Core keeps hitting while another DPS takes the field.
His Burst deals Electro DMG and creates three Gradient Beacons.
Each Beacon he collects gives +5% CRIT Rate, up to 20% at four stacks.
His passive raises the team’s Base Stellar-Conduct DMG by 0.028% per EM point, capped at 14% (500 EM).

That 500 EM cap is why I treat 500 EM as the floor for every Mitya build.

For an off-field build, Wandering Evenstar R5 is strong because its team ATK buff works while Mitya is off-field.

Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG (EM works if your weapon already gives CRIT)
Substats: CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG first, then EM, then Energy Recharge

On-field Mitya wants roughly 120–140% Energy Recharge. Remember his own passive gives up to 20% CRIT Rate, so don’t over-stack Rate.

Odette is the one teammate I’d call essential. She supplies Cryo and boosts Stellar Glimmer damage. If you lack Yae Miko, Alyosha or Fischl can cover Electro.

Mitya Rotations

On-field Mitya:

Yae Miko: Skill three times, then Burst.
Odette: Skill, then her special Skill.
Valeriy: Skill and Burst for the shield.
Mitya: hold Skill, spam enhanced Charged Attacks, use Burst, then keep attacking until the Beacons run out.

Off-field Mitya:

Yae Miko, then Odette, then Mitya (tap Skill and Burst), then Sandrone (Charged Attack, Skill, Burst). Repeat.

Mitya Constellations

Based on U7BUY’s breakdown, C1 is the best early stopping point. It raises max Beacons to five, restores Energy and gives the active character 50% CRIT DMG while a Detection Core is up. C2 adds 25% Cryo and Electro RES shred plus team EM. C6 adds a 20% Stellar-Conduct Elevation for the whole team.

Common Mitya Build Mistakes

Stacking ATK%. His damage scales with EM and CRIT.
Using the wrong Skill mode. Hold for on-field, tap for off-field.
Doubling up Heart of the Furnace. Give it to one character only.
Skipping Yae Miko’s Witch’s Revelation quest. It unlocks her Stellar-Conduct buffs.
Levelling Skill first on on-field Mitya. Prioritise Normal Attack.
