Control: Resonant rewards players who actually explore its hiss-infested version of Manhattan, not just those who rush the story. There are 50 trophies on PS5 and 49 achievements on Xbox/PC (no Platinum outside PlayStation), and almost all of them come naturally from playing normally. Here’s the quick breakdown:

RarityCountXbox/PC Gamerscore
Platinum/Gold1 / 1Gold = 100G
Silver1630G each
Bronze3210–20G each

Only one trophy is genuinely missable, and it’s easy to fix even if you’ve already messed it up.

Six of these trophies simply require killing each of the game’s six Resonants — do that and you’ll also finish the Mural in the Gap, which unlocks the Gold trophy automatically.

The One Missable Trophy

Almost nothing in Control: Resonant can be permanently missed — except Be What You Want to Be. It requires you to pick the correct lyrics during a karaoke sequence in the side quest The Party Won’t Stop, found in the West Incursion Zone. Pick the wrong line and you’ll fail it.

If you already blew it, don’t restart the whole quest: just reload the auto-save from before the sequence ends and try again. There’s no need to replay the entire quest chain.

Tips for an Efficient Platinum Run

  • Level every Zone to at least 5 as you go — Field Control and several Silver trophies depend on it, and backtracking late is slower.
  • Craft Artifacts continuously, not in one late-game push, since 30 crafts is the single biggest time sink.
  • Assist Mode is safe to use. It doesn’t lock out any trophy or the Platinum, so turn on immortality or one-hit kills if you just want the checklist done.
  • Save before “The Party Won’t Stop” so you can immediately correct the karaoke trophy if you pick wrong.

FAQs

Is the Control: Resonant Platinum hard to get?

No. It’s a time investment rather than a skill test — most trophies come from normal exploration, side quests, and defeating the six Resonants.

Does Assist Mode disable trophies in Control Resonant?

No. Assist Mode options like immortality or one-hit kills don’t block any trophy or achievement, including the Platinum.

How many Resonants are in Control Resonant?

Six, plus the Hedron as the final boss. Killing all of them completes the Mural in the Gap and unlocks the Gold trophy, Graffiti Artist.

What’s the only missable trophy?

Be What You Want to Be, tied to picking correct karaoke lyrics in the West Incursion Zone side quest The Party Won’t Stop.
