FischFright 3 went live on October 17, 2026 with version 2.06, and the Halloween update added four limited relics to Roblox Fisch: the Doomed, Grim, Eldritch, and Vile Relics. You can get all four in four ways — fish them up on Caustic Hallow under specific conditions, pull them from trick-or-treating, buy them outright from the Dutchman Merchant, or force them out of Frankenstein’s cemetery rituals.

I’ve ground the event since launch, and this guide covers every method: exact fishing setups, ritual recipes, Treats prices, and what each relic actually does once you equip it.

How to Reach Caustic Hallow?

All four relics are exclusive to the FischFright 3 event island, so sail there first. From Moosewood Dock, find Captain Jack on the haunted ship, pick the “I want to Travel” option, and you’ll land on Caustic Hallow — home to the fishing spots, decorated houses, and the cemetery rituals. Before you set off, redeem the code FischFright2026 for free starter Treats; you’ll need them for the merchant or the 100-Treat ritual entry fee.

How to Get the New Relics by Fishing?

Fishing is the free method, and every relic shares one requirement: Autumn. After that, each one has its own preferred time, weather, and bait.

RelicSeasonTimeWeatherBait
Doomed RelicAutumnNightJack-o-MoonBlack Licorice
Grim RelicAutumnNightJack-o-MoonBlack Licorice
Eldritch RelicAutumnNightJack-o-MoonSour Jelly Candy
Vile RelicAutumnDayFoggyBlack Licorice

Three lessons from my own farming: luck stat doesn’t improve relic catch rates (they’re Limited catches), so don’t waste Treats on luck gear. If Black Licorice isn’t producing the Doomed Relic under a Jack-o-Moon, switch to Sour Jelly Candy — some in-game listings show that as its preference.

Finally, Frightful Pools spawn in Doomed, Grim, Vile, and Eldritch versions, and each pool drops its matching relic. Fair warning: the Doomed Relic is rated Hard with 20 resilience and a -50% progress speed penalty, so expect a fight. Our FischFright 3 bestiary guide lists the conditions for all 44 event fish.

Buy Relics From the Dutchman Merchant

The Flying Dutchman flies a loop above Caustic Hallow — use a glider or Gravity Coil from high ground to board it. The Dutchman Merchant sells all four relics for Treats: Grim, Vile, and Doomed cost 2,500 each, while Eldritch runs 7,500. That’s 15,000 Treats for the full set, and it’s the only zero-RNG method in the event. I stack Treats by selling event fish to the Frightful Merchant, finishing NPC quests (500–3,000 Treats each), opening Frightful Caskets, and trick-or-treating between fishing sessions.

How to Get Relics From Trick-or-Treating?

Trick-or-treating needs no setup beyond the right tool:

  1. Equip the Candy Bucket from your hotbar.
  2. Walk to any decorated house on Caustic Hallow and knock on the door.
  3. Choose “Treat!” when the NPC answers, then collect your reward.

Most knocks give candy, and houses sit on an 8-minute cooldown, so treat this as a side activity while waiting for Jack-o-Moon weather. Houses running the Catch the Ghost minigame can also end with a relic drop.

Get Relics From Frankenstein’s Rituals

Frankenstein stands at the Caustic Hallow cemetery (around -15104, 146, -9621). Every ritual costs 100 Treats to start, and a placement timer begins immediately — drop each item into its Jack-o’-Lantern pedestal and the skull item onto the central Skeletal Hand altar before time runs out. Items left in your inventory don’t count, other players can help place pieces, and only 2026 FischFright Skulls are accepted — last year’s FischFright 2 skulls get rejected.

Scary Relic Ritual (Random Doomed, Grim, or Vile)

Unlocks after you complete the Hexed Ritual and awaken one Skeletal Hand. Fill the Jack-o’-Lanterns with: Sour Patch Salmon, Strange Root, a Grim-mutated Gargoyle Grouper, a Vile-mutated Broomstick Bass, a Doomed-mutated Crypt Crab, Spider Eye, Bat Wing, and any 2026 FischFright Skull. The hand altar needs a second FischFright Skull, so bring two. The three fish must carry their exact mutations — matching the species alone won’t count. The reward is one random Grim, Vile, or Doomed Relic, and you can’t pick which.

Eldritch Ritual (Guaranteed Eldritch + Bonus Relic)

This one guarantees an Eldritch Relic plus a random Grim, Vile, or Doomed on top, making it the best value in the event. Prerequisites: complete the Haunted Cemetery Ritual, reach Hex Stage 2 by offering ingredients at Beatrix’s Cauldron, and awaken four Skeletal Hands. You’ll also need seven Witch Ingredients (goblin drops and Hexed Ritual rewards), three Dark Art Skulls, and one any 2026 FischFright Skull. Dark Art Skulls only come from Goblin quests on Hard difficulty, so I farm goblins early while gathering everything else — see our Witch’s Ingredients farming guide for the full loop.

What Do the 4 New Relics Do in Fisch?

These aren’t enchant relics — they’re equippable rod relics, and the Eldritch takes up both slots.

RelicSlotEffects
DoomedPrimary10% Doomed mutation chance, -0.15 control, occasional strong slashes
GrimPrimary10% Grim mutation, 25% chance of instant initial progress, -10% resilience
VileSecondary10% Vile mutation, +10% progress speed, -10% fish weight
EldritchBoth slots10% Eldritch mutation, 50% chance to yank fish back to bar center, rolls the other three relics’ abilities every few seconds

Community consensus so far: Doomed and Eldritch are the standouts, and the Eldritch Relic effectively bundles all four abilities at the cost of your secondary slot.

Pro Tips for Completing the Relic Set

  • Buy first, grind second. Save toward the three 2,500-Treat relics and let the Eldritch Ritual cover the expensive one.
  • Farm Dark Art Skulls early. Hard goblin challenges gate the Eldritch Ritual, and our Youngster Goblin quest guide covers the goblin loop.
  • Double-dip rituals. The Eldritch Ritual pays two relics per completion, so repeat it if you’re missing several.
  • Check the scarecrow altar. The appeasement quest there has paid out a Vile Relic alongside Frightful Caskets and Treats.

FAQs

What do the new relics do in Fisch?

Each relic adds a 10% chance for its matching mutation plus a stat bonus — extra progress speed (Vile), initial progress (Grim), strong slashes (Doomed), or bar-center pulls and all three relic abilities bundled (Eldritch).

How much do the relics cost in Fisch?

The Doomed, Grim, and Vile Relics cost 2,500 Treats each from the Dutchman Merchant, and the Eldritch Relic costs 7,500 — 15,000 Treats for the full set.

Why can’t I catch the Doomed Relic?

You’re likely using the wrong bait. Fish at night in Autumn under Jack-o-Moon weather, and swap Black Licorice for Sour Jelly Candy if nothing bites.

How long do I have to get the relics?

FischFright 3 started October 17, 2026 with no confirmed end date, but last year’s event wrapped in early November — assume a similar deadline and grind now.

Can you get all 4 relics without fishing?

Yes. Trick-or-treat for random drops, buy all four from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats, or run Frankenstein’s rituals — no rod required.
