HoYoverse has officially announced the Honkai: Nexus Anima Final Closed Beta, and signups are open right now — but slots are limited, so move fast. This is the last test before the creature-catching adventure RPG launches worldwide in spring 2027, and it’s the fullest build yet: new story chapters, Chromatic Anima, the ranked Nexus Arena, and expanded exploration of the starting town of Iia. Having followed every test since the first beta, I’ll walk you through how to sign up in minutes, what’s genuinely new, and what happens after. Here’s everything at a glance:

How to Sign Up for the Honkai Nexus Anima Final Closed Beta?

Signing up took me under five minutes, and it’s completely free:

  1. Head to the official Honkai: Nexus Anima website.
  2. Click the Join the Test button in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Log in with your HoYoverse account — create one if needed.
  4. Click Join the Test again and complete the recruitment questionnaire about your gaming history and habits.
  5. Submit it and wait for selection.

My advice: answer honestly. HoYoverse recruits a diverse mix of testers, not just hardcore players, and skipping the questionnaire makes you ineligible. Selected players are notified through the on-site eligibility checker, email, and SMS, then receive download instructions. No confirmation means you weren’t picked this round — I’d still pre-register on the App Store, which is live with check-in rewards, so you lose nothing before launch. While you wait, keep our Gaming hub bookmarked for the confirmed test schedule.

What’s New in the Final Closed Beta?

This is the most content-rich version of the game yet. You play an Animaster setting out from the town of Iia in a world where the Nexus — the invisible bonds pairing concepts like love and hate — was severed, scattering that power as creatures called Anima.

New story chapters bring companions and rivals, each with their own pasts and stances, while Iia opens up from a stately bank to a high-rise office building and a breezy lighthouse island. Between quests, rest in your own RV and build Anima habitats across the map.

Collectors get the headline features: Anima now appear in rare Chromatic forms, more Juvenile Anima grow from fledgling to formidable at your side, and new interactions — holding hands, hugging, being hoisted into the air — make every bond feel real. The reworked Event Bonds system guarantees your first 5-star Eidos or Anima is the current limited one, and pulling the limited Eidos claims its matching Anima Companion for free (HoYoverse showcased 5-star Reality unit Bai Mei and her Anima Seroplumanth).

Combat changes most: the brand-new Nexus Arena lets you build any lineup, face matched opponents, and push ranks, while tougher enemies hit the open world and challenge stages.

Every previous test ended with a full data wipe, and HoYoverse confirmed the same for this one — nothing carries into launch. The end date isn’t announced yet; the studio says the detailed schedule comes later, so treat the questionnaire as urgent if you want in.
