Off Campus Lands Season 2 Release Date at Prime Video (November 2026)

Prime Video announced Thursday that Off Campus will return for Season 2 on Wednesday, April 28, 2027 — roughly a year after the hockey romance’s eight-episode first season dropped on May 13, 2026. Fittingly, the news did not arrive via a stuffy press release: stars Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn broke the date themselves in a playful announcement video (watch it below).

Based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Off-Campus novels, the drama is set at the fictional Briar University, where four close-knit college hockey players — Garrett, Dean, Logan and Tucker — stumble toward adulthood and true love. Created by Louisa Levy, Season 1 adapted the first book in the series, The Deal, tracking the fake-to-real romance between hockey captain Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) and music major Hannah Wells (Ella Bright). It premiered May 13, 2026 and scored its Season 2 renewal in February 2026 — three full months before the first episode even aired.

But every new semester needs a new syllabus. Season 2 moves the romance spotlight to Dean Di Laurentis — Briar’s resident heartbreaker, played by Stephen Kalyn — and Allie Hayes, Hannah’s best friend and roommate, played by Mika Abdalla. And in a Bridgerton-style structural twist (Levy’s own comparison), the season skips past Book 2, The Mistake, to adapt Kennedy’s third novel, The Score, which chronicles the pair’s secret attraction. When the pivot was announced in May, Levy said the team is excited to continue “Allie and Dean’s story as our primary romance of season two.”

What Happened at the End of Off Campus Season 1?

Season 1 left Dean and Allie in full romantic crisis. The pair spent the season in a no-strings-attached fling — until both of them caught very real feelings. Panicked by how attached they were getting, Allie insisted the two sleep with other people to keep things casual. (Reader: it did not keep things casual.)

The fallout landed like a slap shot in the finale, when Dean discovered that Allie had slept with Hunter Davenport (Charlie Evans) — a rival player he truly cannot stand, who is set to join the Briar Hawks in Season 2. The new season picks up right in the middle of that Dean-vs.-Hunter dust-up, with Allie caught between them. Book readers, meanwhile, already know where The Score takes Dean — the guy everyone warned you about — and the love story nobody expected him to get right.

Who’s Back? Who’s New?

Abdalla and Kalyn step up to lead the ensemble, while Season 1 leads Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli slide into supporting roles as Hannah and Garrett. The returning roster also includes Antonio Cipriano (Logan), Jalen Thomas Brooks (John Tucker) and Charlie Evans (Hunter Davenport), plus Julia Sarah-Stone, Khobe Clarke, Miles Gutierrez-Riley and Shay Rudolph. Two notable new arrivals: India Fowler (Fear Street: Prom Queen) as Grace Ivers — Logan’s future love interest, and a wink at The Mistake still to come — and Phillipa Soo as Scarlett, a theater artist guest-directing an original play at Briar.

Behind the camera, the series was created by Louisa Levy, who runs the show with Gina Fattore; the two serve as co-showrunners and executive producers alongside Silver Tree, Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, James Seidman, Neal Flaherty and Leanna Billings. Off Campus is produced by Temple Hill Entertainment, 28 In Blue, Drowning Girl Productions and Billings Productions in association with Amazon MGM Studios, with Season 2 cameras rolling in Vancouver before wrapping this fall.

Final Thoughts

Premiere day is still a full semester away, so let’s fill the off-season the Briar U way — with heated debate. Drop your answers in the comments:

1. Are you Team Dean-and-Allie, or are you still not over Garrett and Hannah?
2. Do you approve of the show skipping The Mistake and jumping straight to The Score — or does Logan and Grace’s story need to come first?
3. Book readers: which scene from The Score absolutely, positively must make the cut?
