Anime Zero Update 3 Guide (October 2026) Trials, Codes & Lyth Units

Anime Zero Update 3 (Void Arbiter) adds the Trials mode, new Lyth unlocks, a guild redesign, matchmaking changes, 13 accessories and 15 character slots. I went through every change so you can see what matters before your first run. Here’s the quick version.

How Trials Works?

Trials is a room-based mode. Each room has five floors, and the fifth floor ends in a boss you must beat to advance. Some rooms are tied to unit unlocks, so you can’t skip ahead.

Faster clears earn a better rank, from S to B. A single run pays up to 35,000 Coins, 15 Crystals and 25 Lucky Spins. Trials also drops four food items (Capray, Ham, Oris and Burger) that cover missing awakening materials. A leaderboard tracks the highest room reached, and you can check it at any leaderboard in the game.

How to Unlock the New Lyth Units?

Check Highest Room Cleared in the Trials lobby, because room and floor labels differ between videos.

Enter each code exactly as written in the in-game Codes menu. Some older codes need a minimum level, such as SORRYFORZEDELAY (level 50+).

Guild Changes in Update 3

Guilds can now hold up to 60 players. The new Call Guild button notifies online members to join your room. There’s also a daily Guild XP bar and a guild search. I’d join an active guild before attempting Astral Blossom, since it needs co-op.

Matchmaking Improvements

You can now join open rooms from other lobby servers. Toggle the cross-lobby option in the queue settings. If you can’t find a group, check that this is enabled.

New Accessories, Slots and Emotes

13 new accessories: 3 are wings and 10 are craftable. You have four accessory slots, so compare stats before crafting.
15 character slots: up from 4, so you can keep alternate units for different Trials rooms.
11 new emotes: the total is now 30.
New events: rewards include Gems, Coins, Dice and Crystals.

Quality-of-Life Changes

Story mode waits for a player vote before wave one.
Spawn protection while loading into a run.
Leaving a run early now pays out.
Critical hits show red damage numbers.
Bosses have visible outlines through heavy effects.
Camera shake is adjustable from 0% to 100%.
Pressing H hides the UI.
17 languages are supported, plus larger mobile buttons and console menu fixes.
