How to Get the Predator Badlands Dek Skin in Fortnite (November 2026) Price & Styles

Fortnite’s Fortnitemares 2026 lineup just added its final hunter: Dek, the young Yautja outcast from 20th Century Studios’ Predator: Badlands. Getting him is simple — you buy the Dek Outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks or the full four-item Predator Bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks in the Item Shop. There’s no quest, no tournament cup, and no free unlock hiding behind a login streak. I’ve laid out every price, all three Dek styles, the gifting rules, and the exact date he rotates out, so you can decide in about a minute whether to grab the outfit or go all in on the bundle.

How to Get Predator Badlands Dek Skin in Fortnite 2026?

You can get the Predator Badlands Dek skin in Fortnite by purchasing the Dek Outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks (or the 2,000 V-Bucks Predator Bundle) from the Item Shop. Open the Shop tab, scroll to the Fortnitemares section, pick your offer, and hold the Purchase button to confirm. Here’s the full process:

Launch Fortnite and head to the Item Shop tab from the main lobby.
Scroll to the Fortnitemares section and look for the “Predator” cards — Dek sits in his own set, not buried inside other collabs.
Choose your offer: the Dek Outfit bundled with the Predator’s Sword Slash emote for 1,500 V-Bucks, or the Predator Bundle with all four cosmetics for 2,000 V-Bucks.
Preview all three styles (Base, Helmet, and Masked) and check the Thia back bling before paying.
Press and hold the Purchase button until the ring fills, then release to confirm. The outfit lands in your Locker under Outfits instantly.

Missed him in the shop? Licensed sets like this one usually return, Epic just never commits to a date, so check the daily rotation or wait for the next Fortnitemares season.

All Fortnite Predator Badlands Bundle Items and Prices

Like most collabs, the Predator Badlands set is far cheaper as a bundle. Buying every item through individual offers would cost 3,200 V-Bucks, while the Predator Bundle runs 2,000 — that’s a 1,200 V-Bucks saving. Here’s the full breakdown:

Cosmetics	Price in V-Bucks
Predator Bundle (includes everything)	2,000
Dek Outfit + Predator’s Sword Slash Emote	1,500
Thia Back Bling	600
Dek’s Plasma Sword Pickaxe	800
Predator’s Sword Slash Emote	300

My favorite detail is the Thia back bling — it’s Elle Fanning’s Weyland-Yutani android from the film, who spends most of the movie riding on Dek’s back after being torn in half. It’s a deep-cut reference fans will clock immediately. Just note there’s no glider in the set, and unlike older Predator collabs, the Plasmacaster doesn’t join Fortnite’s loot pool this time.

All Dek Skin Styles in Fortnite

Dek ships with three styles, and you can swap between them in your Locker for free at any time:

Base — the standard look from the collab artwork, dreadlock-like hair and all.
Helmet — the traditional Yautja bio-helmet he wears early in the film.
Masked — the bone-and-woven mask Dek crafts for himself by the end of Badlands.

The Masked style is the one to show off. The whole outfit looks noticeably leaner and rougher than the armored Jungle Hunter from 2021, which is exactly the point — Dek isn’t a seasoned trophy hunter yet.

Who Is Dek in Predator: Badlands?

Dek is the teenage Yautja lead of Predator: Badlands, the 2025 film from Prey director Dan Trachtenberg. Exiled from his clan for being considered too weak, he crash-lands on a hostile planet and sets out to hunt an unkillable apex Predator to prove himself. That underdog story is why his Fortnite model looks younger and scragglier than the 2021 Battle Pass Predator, and why Thia rides on his back as a back bling. If you’ve seen the movie, the cosmetics make instant sense; if you haven’t, this is one of the most film-accurate collabs Epic has shipped.

Can You Get the Dek Skin for Free in Fortnite?

No — there’s no free way to get the Predator Badlands Dek skin. It isn’t in the Battle Pass, there are no unlock quests, and Epic hasn’t run a competitive cup for it. Your only routes are buying it yourself or having a friend gift it.

Gifting works, but Epic’s rules apply: you need two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on your account, you and the recipient must have been Epic friends for at least two days, and there’s a cap of five gifts per rolling 24 hours. Gifts can’t be refunded either, so double-check the recipient before confirming.

One warning: any site claiming to offer free Dek codes or a V-Bucks generator is a scam. Those services don’t exist, and most exist purely to harvest logins.

Why Can’t I See the Dek Skin in the Item Shop?

If Dek isn’t showing up for you, run through these fixes before assuming the worst:

Relaunch Fortnite — the daily shop flip at 00:00 UTC sometimes loads late on older sessions.
Check the rotation date — he left the shop on November 4, 2026, so a future return is your only option now.
Confirm your V-Bucks balance — you’ll need at least 1,500 for the outfit.
Check parental controls — purchase locks block the confirm screen entirely.

When Does Dek Leave the Fortnite Item Shop?

All Predator Badlands cosmetics rotate out of the Item Shop on November 4, 2026 — a few days after the Treasure Hunters mini-season kicked off on November 1. Dek arriving so late, right at the end of Fortnitemares after first appearing in Epic’s October 1 gameplay trailer, caught plenty of players off guard. My advice: if you want him, buy him in this first window. Licensed movie sets do come back eventually, but Epic never announces return dates in advance. FAQs

When did the Predator Badlands Dek skin come out in Fortnite?

The Dek skin launched in the Item Shop on October 28, 2026, alongside update v42.40, as the final Fortnitemares 2026 collab skin.

How much does the Dek skin cost in Fortnite?

The Dek Outfit (with the Sword Slash emote) costs 1,500 V-Bucks, and the full Predator Bundle costs 2,000 V-Bucks. Individual extras: Thia back bling 600, Plasma Sword pickaxe 800, emote 300.

Is the Fortnite Dek skin the same as the old Predator skin?

No. The 2021 Jungle Hunter Predator came from the Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass and never returned. Dek is a separate Item Shop skin — buying one doesn’t unlock the other, though they make a great duo.
